Can you believe that February is almost over. We are really practicing being First Graders this week. The end of the year will be here before we know it. This week we learned  a lot of reading strategies that will help us when we are reading books that have tricky words. Hopefully, you have heard of “stretchy snake,” “chunky monkey,” “lips the fish,” and “eagle eye” this week. We will be learning a few more next week to help us out when we are reading. We also got to learn more about our friend Talia this week while she was the Superstar! Sounds like her and Hotdog had a lot of fun! Hotdog is taking another break this week and then will visit one more friend before Spring Break.
