I am so glad everyone had a safe and fun spring break. I loved hearing all the good things this week about their favorite parts of spring break. It sounds like you all had some fun! We have been busy at work on our research projects. Next week, we will wrap them up and present them so be looking for pictures of that this week. We have broken up into 4 groups to research animals the last few weeks. We are excited to see what our groups learned about sharks, lions, gorilla, and flamingos. It has been a lot of fun to see the kids work collaboratively with this project. We have a new Super Star next week! We are excited to learn more about our buddy Winslow and his family!

Even with the rain, we had another fun week. Here are some pictures from all our fun.

We went to listen to David Elliott this week during our author visit. It is always fun to see an author in real life.

We talked a lot this week about living and non-living things. Ellie, brought her gerbils on Friday for us to observe for the day. They had been spending some time in 1st grade with Mrs. Riggins and just came down the hall for the day. It was fun to have our furry little friends in our class.

We got to know our buddy Reid a little better this week! Hot Dog will be enjoying some rest for Spring Break and is looking forward to seeing another friend when we come back!

Last week, we enjoyed reading across America with all our Dr. Seuss fun. Mrs. Freide even came to read to us!

We had an awesome field trip to the Thinkery today. It was so fun to watch the kids explore all the hands on fun the Thinkery has to offer. Here are a few pictures from our day.
